Does Race Play a Role in How Chris Brown is Treated?

I say, absolutely. Yesterday I saw this list. That list has a *still* growing list of white males that have committed some form of abuse to a female. When I read it, I just absolutely couldn’t believe it. The likes of Sean Bean (Lord knows I loved him in LOTR and GOT, but wow really?), Sean Penn, and even Bill Murray were on this list. Will you boycott their movies? Probably not. What about Ben Rothlisberger…will you continue to support his team? Probably. Most of these men, if not ALL have gotten little to no backlash and are still successful in their career fields, its absolutely ridiculous. If race isn’t the case what is it then? It could be that Chris can come off as asshole-ish at times, but I mean who wouldn’t when the world is ‘anti-you’. Its not the assholism…I can tell you that much because if thats the case, Charlie Sheen would not be working. I guess people forgot about Charlie Sheen because he gave us a little catch phrase and everything was ok. What they did was absolutely inexcusable, but if you’re gonna pick on one, pick on them all…don’t be selective because its your favorite actor or football player. I’m not going to say forgive them either, its up to the victim to forgive not the public. Rihanna has OBVIOUSLY forgiven Chris, leave him alone.
